One of the most beautiful things God has given us is forgiveness.

It is the ability to see beyond the offense and the hurt and see things clearly.

We live in a world full of disappointments, sadness, and injustice, and yes, it is easy for any of us to focus on the blame, on who did what to whom, and then the offender, in most cases, must be punished.

When we are little, we get mad, angry, upset, and disappointed when someone hurts us or causes us pain. Corina understood forgiveness through Eternal; she realized that sometimes it helps to understand a little bit more about the bully. In the story of Corina, Liam was dealing with her own bullying at home, and she manifested her anger towards Corina.

This doesn?t make bullying right. Bullying or hurting someone is inhuman and wrong. But to me, it was a start for understanding forgiveness.

At first, the idea of kindly thinking of someone who hurt me was not an option. As a kid with an incredible imagination, I spent countless hours planning my revenge ?many times inspired by the most famous cartoons and movies. I let myself get lost in emotions and anger.

When we feel angry and need revenge, our feelings and emotions are not in a good state ?they affect our energy centers, judgment, and health.

Forgiveness is not just about forgetting the offender. It is also for us to heal in the process and see things from another perspective. With love in mind.

Utilize your time and energy wisely, don?t waste it in anger and blame, do this for yourself.

And on a much brighter side, focus on your life, the things that matter, your family, your school, your books, and your friends.

Forgiveness is not just for the forgiven, it is for both. Both need the healing that only true forgiveness can provide.
